The project Huis aan de Kade - which is part of the larger urban development project Nieuw Zuid - is a U-shaped residential building along the Scheldt. The Aue pavilions were temporarily built for the hundred days of Documenta IX in Kassel and formed one of the components housing the contemporary art exhibitions.
